Hong Kong & Updates.

Well well this has been quite a blogging draught for me considering my almost-unhealthy addiction to the Internet and my blog. Haha. Since my last post 20 days ago (cheh it's not that long also) I have gone back to Melaka and Singapore, celebrated my dad's birthday and Father's Day, spent ample-but-never-enough time with the family and friends, watched a couple of TVB dramas and (one of the main highlights of my summer holidays) I went to Hong Kong to watch Raymond Lam's debut concert!

As it turns out, Raymond Lam's concert wasn't the best thing that happened during my Hong Kong trip. It was a great concert, and he really proved that he is a bona fide and talented singer but being his debut concert and all, there's lots of room for improvement. So I let him slide down my list and allowed things like the Star Ferry and Victoria's Peak to surpass him. I'll do a proper post on that when I get around to uploading my pics!

After spending a short 6 days there, I have decided that I am in love with Hong Kong. I suppose I should have seen it coming considering my love for TVB dramas but frankly, before I went, I was dreading it. No idea why. But I enjoyed every bit of that trip right down to the . Funnily enough, I felt like I learnt a bit more about what truly fascinates me and that it's perfectly fine if it doesn't fascinate other people as much.

I've never really found the words to describe how I feel about Hong Kong and why I have fallen in love with it after only a few days. I guess the reason is exactly that - that I have grown to love it in just a few days. I may not know every inch of it, but I feel like I belong somehow. Cheesy, but true.

But enough about Hong Kong and my love affair with it! Since the last post, last year's A-Levels students have finished their A2 exams which means that it's been one whole year since I finished my A2 exams. Time flies. Now it's so hard just to meet up for a simple dinner! It's getting more and more difficult to work around everyone's schedule and lives. Makes me wonder if this is the beginning of the dwindling of friendships that I so often hear about.

I watched Hannah Montana: The Movie! I'm going to watch 17 Again tomorrow! And then Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen on Wednesday! I keep telling anyone who will listen not to overhype Transformers: ROTF but I have to admit I'm pretty excited about watching it too. Well, one can only hope it doesn't disappoint!

And yes, I did watch Hannah Montana. For the record, I enjoyed it immensely, no joke! I'm even considering buying the soundtrack!

The familiar squeeze-everything-into-a-small-amount-of-time feeling is back again because I leave for Singapore (again) and then Taiwan next monday. But then this time it's different because I'll be back and then I'll have a lot of time on my hands to lepak. Or not actually, because September is so very looming and imminent. Scares the crap outta me.

Ahhh I miss Hong Kong! :(
