And The Curtain Falls.

Season finales and end of exams.. it's been quite the week of endings for me! With the exception of the OMGWTFBBQ (haha thanks Jeremy) Grey's season finale last week, of course, but I don't think I'll go into that anymore.

So I sat for my last paper today after getting a grand total of ONE hour of sleep. I swear I haven't had a good night's sleep in such a long time that I can't even recall what it's like. I got into bed around 2am and tossed and turned till 7am. And then I had to get up at 8am. Well, the big compensation of course is that it's finally the end of exams! I am mentally and physically exhausted from the past 3 weeks and I'm so glad it's over.

And what better way to celebrate than to go shopping! OK, honestly I was so not in the mood to go, but I felt obligated to because I haven't gone shopping in forever. So I dragged my feet along Oxford Street and managed to buy myself some summer wear. I feel kinda bad that I went shopping in such a horrible state of mind. I'm going to get a good night's rest tonight (fingers crossed) and go all out tomorrow!

The downer today were the season finales :( In a way, it's a good thing all my shows have ended because it would be impossible to watch them back home with slow internet. But after almost one year of following them religiously, it's a bit quiet now that the seasons have all ended. Not to mention 2 out of 4 of them have characters that may or may not be returning next season! :(

But in the mean time, I'm going to fill the void with lots and lots and lots of TVB dramas - time to catch up! Rosy Business, Shades of Truth, Phoenix Rising, Last One Standing.. and the list goes on.

Aaah it's good to be free again :D

Thoughts on GG, HIMYM & OTH season finales:

Lots of Love going around in all 3 finales :)

Gossip Girl season 2 finale:

I Love You moment #1:

3 guesses which part had me smiling like an idiot :) Haha. I have to say, I still think them getting together will affect the dynamics of the show but come on, this is what I (and about 3 million other girls) have been waiting for since last season's finale! Chuck Bass finally admitting to Blair that he loves her and many times too! I'm ecstatic, although there's a sinking feeling that they won't make it to next season's finale. Ah well, I'll just be ecstatic for now and pray that there'll at least be 10 episodes of Chuck and Blair lovin' next season before anything happens. Haha.

Seriously the award for Idiot of the Episode goes to Serena. First she complains about being stalked by the papparazi and then she wants to take down Gossip Girl because she doesn't want to be irrelavant. Huh? And what the heck was she wearing to graduation? It so totally clashed with Constance's awesome emerald graduation outfits!

Speaking of taking down Gossip Girl, I kinda like it when the four of them get all Scooby Doo'd up and start investigating and all. Haha.

So what else happened? It was a prety good, conclusive finale. Chuck and Blair getting together, Lily and Rufus getting married, Jenny overthrowing the monarchy of high school, Nate and Vanessa going backpacking as friends "unless they drink too much".. and it also left much to be gossiped about next season - Scott the Lovechild (who is a spitting image of Rufus), Serena's Dad (I kinda forgot he existed, or had to exist lol), Carter Baizen ('nuff said) and of course, Georgina Sparks and Blair Waldorf as roommates (fun!)

I'm a bit thrown off by how the Poppy Lifton thing ended just like that. Hopefully it's explained in the 3rd season. Well, we'll just have to wait till the fall and see. xoxo!

One Tree Hill season 6 finale:

I Love You moment #2:

The whole episode was pretty moving especially with the lingering knowledge that it's Lucas and Peyton's last episode. But I only cried this part because I'm a sucker for familial touching moments. It's a bit abrupt how Victoria became human but it's nice. At least she got Brooke to go to LA for..

OK, I'm not shocked it went down like that between Brooke and Julian since I found out Austin Nichols is going to be made a regular on the show but I was sooooo glad when she finally said it. They make such a hot couple! And this confirms it even more for happy little me that Austin Nichols is definitely here to stay! :D

I was holding my breath throughout this episode waiting for the shoe to drop. Or, well, Peyton to drop dead. Haha. I mean, I know they're leaving so I wanna be prepared this time and not get hit by a bus (pun intended) like I did with Grey's! So when Peyton survived the childbirth, and her baby was fine, and she woke up, and she was happy and then it ended I felt a bit cheated. Haha. There I was thinking that a truck would ram into the Comet again but instead it was all happy ending-y with the 3 of them driving off into the sunset. Wouldn't you feel cheated?! Although it's nice that no one died of course.

This finale felt a lot like a series finale instead of a season one. Nathan got into the NBA, Mouth and Millie back together in Tree Hill, Brooke and Julian, The Scotts all happy and alive.. it felt a lot like OTH was ending. Which, in a way, is on its way I'm guessing what with Lucas and Peyton not coming back. I wonder how they're gonna "leave" Tree Hill next season. BuddyTV thought up an interesting way to spin the series so that it doesn't die out but honestly, I kind of wish it has just ended like that. As sad as it would be to bid goodbye to Tree Hill, it'll be even sadder to drag it on. Ahhh well.

How I Met Your Mother Season 4 finale:

I Love You moment #4:

Not exactly the one I was hoping for but it was cute nonetheless. I thought Robin's "feelings" were a little out of the blue. Well, compared to Barney's pining which has been evident for like, the whole season. Haha. It would be weird to see Robin and Barney together somehow although they do seem perfect for each other. It'll be weird seeing Barney in a serious relationship!

I only remembered Ted had a pretty crappy year when he rounded it up and then leaped. It was very symbolic, the whole leaping thing. And looks like we're one step closer to finding out who's the Mother!

I have to add that Neil Patrick Harris is so very suave ;)

Well that's that. No more Tuesdays and Fridays for me till the fall. Sighhh..
