Picnic in Hyde Park.

3rd April 2009

For some reason the weather was perfect during the few days when Yang Sik was here in London. Loooong and lovely sunny intervals, cool breezes and the sudden conspicuous absence of rain. So, we packed McDs (not the most healthy picnic food choice but oh well) and picnicked in I swear what feels like the largest plane of greenness in the whole of London. Actually, it is one of the largest plane of greenness in the whole of London.

So in conclusion, picnics are awesome fun especially when the weather's so beautiful! Actually everything is great when the weather's so beautiful. There were clumps of people scattered all over Hyde Park, some also picnicking in groups, and some just lying there alone soaking up the amazing weather.

But now the weather has gone back to being cold and rainy :(

Funnily enough though, I miss those loud and heavy thunderstorms like the ones we have back in Malaysia. Especially the ones that start when I'm just about to go to bed, ohhhh sleeping through a heavy rain is soooo good. I can hardly tell when it's raining outside here unless I look out the window. London's rains are wimpy.

Actually that's what I said about snows in London too and the next thing you know we have one of the worst snowstorms in over a decade.

So, bring on the thunderstorms and heavy rains! :D
