That song's been stuck in my head since I saw the Psych promo video (see previous post)! It's actually a really nice song, as almost all oldies are. I was watching the original music video, the one with Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney, and I just love how the Psych promo parodied it so accurately right down to the perfectly contrasted outfits. Awesome.
On another note, I've been deprived from my GG, OTH and Grey's for more than 2 weeks now which frankly speaking, is suppose to be good for my study health. But I need my weekly dose of hot people with swanky clothes and perfect hair! Sigh. I think I'll have to get used to it though because I think the season finales are all coming up and 2 out of 3 of them may involve deaths of main characters! Gasp!
I never really understood why they like to kill of main characters especially after they've made such an impact on the show. Sure, it seems a little cruel to suddenly make them small and insignificant a la Dr. George O'Malley (can we even still address him as a Dr.?) but at least they're still there, like a little buffer to ease our drama-deprived souls.
New movies coming out this summer! Oooh I am so excited! Summer movies are the best. Plus point: I'll be back in KL where it won't cost me an ear and a leg to watch a movie! :D

Dammit the Harry Potter trailer looks so good.. but all Harry Potter trailers look good. Sigh. I think I won't have any expectation at all for this movie so I won't feel so conned when I walk out of the cinema after. Sigh.

Rant on Gossip Girl Season 2 Episode 20:
Can someone please explain the logic behind the re-coupling of Nate and Blair? Wait, I know - it's because Nate has slept around with everyone already so he's gone one full circle and now he's back right where he started. To be honest, I kind of forgot Nate was ever with Blair.
Well, at least (hopefully) Nate will have a better script. It seems like for the most part of season 2, he relied on his good looks to pull him from episode to episode (not that I'm complaining..) since he didn't have much of a storyline other than the one with his dad. Otherwise, he was either canoodling up with every and any girl or bouncing back and forth between Vanessa and Jenny.. and somehow making it look like he has no fault at all in that matter. Pft. See, it's all because of him and his perfect hair. And that lopsided grin. Swoon!
But I have to say: NOOOOOOOOOO what about Chuck and Blair?? Argh, I shoulda seen this coming. No way were the writers going to let them end up together since their unresolved sexual tension is what keeps
Serena's acting up again, surprise surprise. The writers love to sneak in reminders that Serena was once evil to the core, which I admit to forget since she's sickeningly sweet and nice since the pilot episode. Ugh. But her acting up is kind of odd and out of place, considering well, she is partly to blame for Jenny's party blowing up in everyone's faces. Ugh. I was never a Serena fan. She may be hot, but who isn't on GG?
I don't know if it's Jenny's fashion industry stint or her natural feel but I like her style the most out of all the girls on the show. While she's kiddy and annoying, her style is not too sloppy or too uptight. Not a big fan of the racoon eyes that she was rocking during her rebelling days but other than that, it's pretty awesome.
Chuck.. Chuck? What happened to Chuck? Right, he's on his way to get Blair back. Well, sorta, I think. I don't know. I hope so! But still hot as ever. Oh WAIT, I remember! He got out of bed with Little Miss I'm-Not-So-Innocent-But-I'm-Still-Boring Vanessa. A ha! Hm, I get the feeling the writers are playing swticheroo with everyone so everyone has a chance to be with everyone. Dan and Blair anyone? Haha.
Is it me or does Vanessa have a whole lot of nice Upper East Side-worthy dresses? I mean, for a Brooklyn girl (as we are so often reminded), she sure has no problem getting something to wear to all the Upper East Side parties she attends..
Yea I'm not going to talk much about Dan or Vanessa because they're boring. Although that little scene where Dan was helping Serena to change the "stained" bedsheets was cute.
So that was me, releasing some GG juice to satisfy my need for all things GG till next week when it returns. OK, that came out wrong.
